Consistent service, reliable reviews

I've used IndieReader a few times now, mainly for their IR Pro Review. This last one for my new fantasy novel was just as good as the others. The process was smooth, and the review came back within the timeframe they promised. It's always a relief knowing what to expect, and they've been consistently reliable. That's why I keep coming back for new projects.

Good value for a Pro Review

I was looking for a professional review for my book but didn't want to overspend. IndieReader's IR Pro Review seemed like a good option, especially since I caught it during a seasonal promotion. I got $30 off, which made a big difference for my budget. The review took about four weeks to come back, which was fine. It gave some good points I hadn't thought about. Overall, it felt like a worthwhile investment for the price I paid.

Hey guys, thinking about getting an IR Pro Review but wondering if there are any active coupon codes floating around? Don't want to pay full price if there's a deal.

D Daisy 2 months ago
I think they usually have them around certain times, like maybe for the Discovery Awards or holidays. I got one last Black Friday.

Yeah, check their newsletter. Sometimes they drop codes there. I've seen bundles with the review and award entry get a discount too, worth looking into if you're doing both.

Are there ever deals for submitting more than one book? I've got a series I'm working on and would love to get all of them reviewed if there's a discount.

E Elena 3 months ago
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I saw something about multi-book discounts, especially for reviews or award entries. You'd have to check their site or ask them directly.

I got a bulk review discount last year! It wasn't a huge amount off each but every bit helps. Definitely look into that, especially if you're doing a whole series.

Is IndieReader legit for reviews, or is it more like one of those pay-to-play sites where everyone gets a good review? Trying to decide between them and Kirkus.

C Carly 2 months ago
They're legit. Not everyone gets a glowing review, for sure. I've seen some pretty honest critiques. It's not like you just pay and automatically get 5 stars.

Definitely legit. They're one of the more respected ones in the indie author community. Kirkus is big but also super expensive and hard to get, IndieReader is a solid alternative if you're self-published. The IR Approved badge is actually something people look for.

What's the difference between a Pro Review and a Verified Reader Review? The pricing is way different, just trying to figure out which one is better bang for my buck.

B Beth Kim 2 months ago
Pro Review is done by their actual professional reviewers, like the ones who write for magazines and stuff. Verified Reader is more like just getting readers to give you honest feedback, but not necessarily 'professional' level analysis. Depends what you need.

If you want something to use for marketing and like, quotes on your book cover, you probably want the Pro Review. The Verified Reader ones are more for just getting more eyeballs and general opinions, I think.

Anyone know how long an IndieReader Pro Review actually takes? I've got a launch date coming up and need to plan around it.

L Lisa Bennett 2 months ago
It's usually a few weeks, like 4-6 I think? It's not super fast but not forever. You submit your book and then they tell you the turnaround.

Mine was about 5 weeks from submission to getting the review back. They're pretty good about hitting their estimated times from my experience.
